(no subject)  
Very quick pop in, since I'm almost drowning in work this morning (ARRRG - work has been dead as dead can be for two weeks, then the VERY DAY my co-worker leaves on vacation, all hell breaks loose), but I thought I'd make sure those of you who are interested go check out Beren's new Vampire!Kiro fic which I accidentally inspired. *tries to dig up a repentant look and fails utterly*

My own vampire fics will hopefully be posted some time this weekend. I had planned to work on the first one today, but... *looks at the 44 page list of names in 10 point font that have to be run for conflicts for a new bankruptcy case* Yeah, sort of not going to happen. *sigh* Hopefully tomorrow, though.

Also, GIP for the new icon [info]sarahsan made me. The full length picture that icon came from is possibly one of the hottest pictures of Kiro I've ever seen. I can't decide if it's the boots or the chains, but DAAAAAAMN. *fans self* It's also an excellent pic of Strify, looking all suave and debonair. And I think this is my favorite full band shot. All the guys look good there.

Ok, that's it for my spare time today. *pouts and wibbles* Y'all don't have too much fun without me, okay?

Toolbar help!  
So, I'm interested in getting the Neopets toolbar. As far as I understand, you need either IE or Firefox, yes? Other browsers like Safari won't work.

But as for the other system requirements, I've read Windows XP/98/2000 etc., but I actually run Mac. I know with some other toolbars/programs, they tend to work on Mac, even if it isn't listed as an operating system, or they create an alternative program, just for the Mac-lovers of the world.

Is this the case with the toolbar? Or can it only be installed on a Windows-based computer? Please and thank you, guys! :D

So I've been around Neopets for quite a while now but I seem to have missed the onset of all the pet trade and transfer lingo.

What's the deal with people offering "custom" or "ffq" pets for others? Like for example, there are people on the boards seeking "500-600k" customs in exchange for one of their pets... How is this achieved?

Snot Grundo For Adoption  

My current lab rat, a female grundo named Zelgna, was just zapped to snot. Since this is a lab-only (or Fountain Faerie) color, I decided I'd see if anyone has been dreaming of having a decently named snot grundo of their own. Its actually not as ugly as I thought when I saw the lab result, even if the color name is gross :-P She is a level 4 pet, 799 days old.

I can change Zelgna to male, if desired, before sending. I currently have her wearing some Lost Desert clothing, but I think those will not transfer (someone correct me if wrong). From Googling, Zelgna appears to be a Polish word, but no idea what it means.

Must have an open transfer slot, as I don't do pound drops. No other requirements really, just to request with a free slot gets her. Please respond here with the name of the account you'd like her transferred to (and indicate if its a main or side).

Krawk mishaggle D=  
So I was just RSing at my normal shops, everything is fine and dandy and then a Krawk RS's at Tyrannian Petpets. My response: OMGAHHHH! *click item, space bar, haggle, click 'roo*

Guess what I did? I added an extra digit to my offer, instead of around 42k I put around 420k. Since I only have 300k out when I RS I got booted out of the shop because I didn't "have that kind of money."

I'm shaking like crazy right now, this shouldn't be that much of a big deal... I see Ice Draik Eggs RS all the time, and their around the same price in value ('Course I never get them ether.) But I've never seen a Krawk RS before, and I've RS Ty-petpets for -years-. Would have got it if not for that extra digit x_____x;

I thought we'd be safe from new capsules until the NC birthday event was over, but there's a new one:



Anyone know what the limited edition bonus item is? Doesn't seem like these are as good as the other birthday ones.

( Bought two, what was in them... )

Random little post...but is anyone else excited for Kiko Day tomorrow?

How hard is it to get a pet on their day?
Like are they just released at random times throughout the day?

I'm a Kiko fanatic and I'm hoping to create a well named one.   
(maybe even a few, if i'm lucky. My kiko's name right now is brutal)

Hey all, early on icons this time~ Had to make a new icon folder on my computer because my old folder was over 100 MB in size XD; Didn't like to open for me anymore without taking five minutes to do so. Rofl~ Did some more color experimenting, but had more crappy-quality pictures than I thought. So, I apologize if some of these icons aren't so good. Regardless, some of them came out great, so I hope you enjoy :)

Lutaris are so cool, and I created one of my own. A friend of mine has the Lutari Island application on her cell from forever ago, and apparently it still works! <3

..this guy is more than likely going to be my Boochi shield now, or heck, my main pet. Other than Ixi, Lutari are where it's at, baby~!

LoP Secret???  
I am doing my Neo duty and playing Legends of Pinball.  I have the prizes from both AAA & Abi.  Refusing to pay 200 NC to play Lulu unless I know what the prize is and I want it (have not looked for it yet)

My question is, how do I get past level 2.2??  This level is in the Meridell Castle and there is a guard blocking with a shield.  I am guessing that you have to get the ball pat the guard but have yet to accomplish that.  So has anyone made it past this level???
